When you use the main search box on the library website, the Discovery System searches the Library Catalogue and ~400 article databases. It also highlights relevant journal titles and further databases for searching.
Listings from the Library Catalogue describe the books, music, maps, films, government information, etc. that are available on the shelves and online at the UA Libraries and our NEOS partner libraries.
The ~400 article databases that get searched are a subset of the UA Libraries' 1000 database subscriptions. They provide citations and full text for journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, ebooks, digitized primary sources collections, etc.
