IBES is an acronym for "Institutional Brokers' Estimate System" and it is the leading source for analysts' earnings expectations. It is generally regarded as the most comprehensive database of earnings per share (eps) projections information which is supplied by analysts who regularly make and revise forecasts for the companies they follow.
