Sharon holds a PhD in Library & Information Studies/Educational Policy Studies, MLIS, and MA (Russian Linguistics) from the University of Alberta. Her professional and research interests include community driven metadata standards and practices, critical knowledge organization, and slow and reparative approaches to resource description.
