PLEASE NOTE: Pitchbook is experiencing technical issues with new user registration, with users getting stuck in a ‘password reset’ loop. 
 

  • If you encounter this issue,  please contact support@pitchbook.com and ask for a login reset
  • After you've reset your password, DO NOT USE THE LOGIN LINK PROVIDED
  • Log out, access Pitchbook from the Library's A-Z Databases list, and log in with your new password 
  • Pitchbook is aware that this issue is affecting UofA students and staff, and they are working to resolve it     

Restrictions on Use:

  • Exporting and printing is limited to 10 daily / 25 monthly rows of company, deal, or fund data per authorized user
  • One tabled search result of company, deal, or fund entities into Excel represents one row

Training Materials:

  • When logged in to the PitchBook platform, the Help Center provides many short video ‘platform walkthroughs’, as well as an FAQ and a glossary
  • PitchBook also has a YouTube channel, and the PitchBook 101 video series is helpful for new users

Conditions of Use

Use of this product is restricted to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Alberta and requires first-time users to create an individual registration. When registering for library databases, please use your University of Alberta email address. It is the responsibility of each user to ensure that they use this product for individual, non-commercial, educational or research purposes only, and do not systematically download or retain substantial portions of information.
