Description

The SHOAH archive provides access to audio-visual interviews with survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust and other genocides. The testimonies in this archive were conducted in 62 countries and 41 languages. Initially a repository of Holocaust testimony, the archive has expanded to include testimonies from genocides in Armenia, China, Cambodia and Guatemala. It also includes testimonies about contemporary acts of violence against Jews.

Conditions of Use

Use of this product is restricted to members of the University of Alberta community and to users of the Library's physical facilities. It is the responsibility of each user to ensure that they use this product for individual, non-commercial, educational or research purposes only, and do not systematically download or retain substantial portions of information.
