If the full-text pdf of an article is available in an EBSCO database, click into the complete reference. Click on the Permalink icon and when the URL appears, highlight it, right click and select Copy.
If the full-text pdf of an article, thesis or dissertations is available in a ProQuest database, click on the Details link. Locate the Document URL field and copy the URL that appears in this field.
If the full-text pdf of an article is available in an Ovid database, click on the Ovid Full Text link. When the next screen appears, click on Email PDF Jumpstart. When the jumpstart panel appears, copy the URL that appears.
If the full-text pdf of an article is available in JSTOR, locate the stable URL. Add the the Ezproxy prefix (http://login.ezproxy.library.ualberta.ca/login?url=) at the beginning of the URL, e.g. the link for the following article would appears as follows: http://login.ezproxy.library.ualberta.ca/login?url=http://www.jstor.org/stable/40071141
