What will a DMP do?

A data management plan (DMP) will:

  1. define the steps you need to manage your data
  2. strengthen your research ethics application
  3. ensure you follow funder and journal requirements
  4. clarify what you need for longer-term data management
  5. give your data a longer lifespan and strengthen your research process
