Linking to Library Online Resources

Linking to Online Databases

To link to a database, search the name of the database in the library Discovery search box

Locate the enter labelled Database and click into the record.

Copy the URL from the address field.  There is no need to add the EZproxy prefix as that is embedded in the Click Here to Access button.

Linking to Library Guides

You can provide links to any of the library guides or information pages on the Library website.

For example, if you wish to link to the Political Science guide, you would simply copy the URL from this page, i.e. https://guides.library.ualberta.ca/political-science.  The EZProxy prefix is not required.  Any links on our guides that require an EZProxy prefix will have them embedded already.

Please contact your Liaison Librarian if you need assistance in linking to a library guide or if you wish to discuss the content of a guide.

Linking to Google Scholar

In order to access any full-text  of U of Alberta licensed resources identified via Google Scholar, access Google Scholar using the following to link:

http://login.ezproxy.library.ualberta.ca/login?url=http://scholar.google.com
