Goals of the Library Lecture & Seminar Activities

This section of this subject guide is dedicated to Library resources that are relevant for students in BUS 404

The following are the library's goals for the library lecture and seminar. By the end of the library lecture and seminar activities, BUS 404 students will be able to:

  • Choose the business resources that allow for the most sound decision making for your specific case
  • Create new knowledge from analyzing business information
  • Identify the ethical considerations of creating information yourself

Part 1: Identify a Primary Research Method

  1. Use the SAGE RESEARCH METHODS methods maps tool to identify a primary research method you will be using for your project 

  2. Use the SAGE RESEARCH METHODS methods maps to define your selected research method, citing a reliable source

Part 2: Identify Relevant Secondary Resources

Use the BUSINESS LIBRARY SUBJECT GUIDES to identify at least 5 databases to  explore later for relevant secondary sources from the Library for your specific research
