Finding Books and Other Resources Using the Library Catalogue

Much literature will be found on the shelves on the 5th floor of Rutherford Library (where you can browse) or stored at the off-site storage facility. The call numbers for Language and Literature are:

Search the Library to find materials by combining keywords or searching for titles or author names. You can also limit/filter your search results. For example: 

  • A title search: Title contains "Love's Labour's Lost"
  • An author search: Author/Creator contains "Tomson Highway"
  • Exploratory search: Subject contains Literature AND Any field contains Indigenous
  • Limit results to a resource type: e.g. book or video
  • Limit results to a format: e.g. "available online" or "physical items"
