The Search the Library box is a great place to search for books and articles on your topic. For a narrower search, use one or more of these more focused databases to find journal articles, book chapters, and more.
Peer Review
Many library databases allow you to limit search results to peer-reviewed articles. If you need to check whether a journal has a peer review process, search for its title in Ulrich's Periodicals Directory and look for the little referee symbol: 
Creative Works
The U of A Library gives you access to a variety of creative works.
- To search for books (e.g., novels) and films, use the Search the Library box.
- To search streaming video collections, use the Audio, Video, & Gaming Resources guide, especially the "TV/Film & Documentaries" section. The databases Criterion-on-Demand and Kanopy include popular movies.
- To find video games, use the tips on the Games page.
