Create a free account to download official Alberta spatial data and imagery infrastructure.: municipal boundaries; Alberta Township Survey (ATS) system polygons; small-scale and 1:20 000 base features including access, geo-administrative areas, contour line work, hydrography; and seamless provincial Digital Elevation Models (DEM) of hillshade (25 m or 100 m), elevation raster (25 m or 100 m), and the Alberta provincial terrain. Seamless spatial database of soils for Alberta’s Agricultural area, version 4.1.

• Alberta Climate Information Service (ACIS)

Over 10,000 maps of Alberta weather and Alberta climate related information, and near real time station data from over 350 meteorological stations operating in the province.

• Alberta Parks

Datasets from the Alberta Conservation Information Management System (ACIMS), Alberta's Natural Regions & Subregions, Environmentally Sensitive Areas (ESAs), Crown reservations, and protected areas.

• GeoDiscover Alberta

The provincial authoritative geospatial Open Government data portals from all ministries, including Alberta Vegetation Inventory (AVI) Crown, Alberta Vegetation Inventory (AVI) Post Inventory Cutblocks, Central Parkland Vegetation Inventory (CPVI), Grassland Vegetation Inventory (GVI), Native Prairie Vegetation Inventory (NPVI), watershed boundaries, hydrography, bathymetry, etc. Some datasets will require you to sign a data license agreement.

• Interactive Health Data Application (IDHA)

Many Alberta health statistics (indicators) on a variety of health-related topics such as demographics, mortality, chronic and infectious disease, and children's health, and the relevant Geographic Boundary Files.

• Land Use Planning Hub

A collection of maps and geographic data that includes historical and current information related to agricultural land use.

• Spatial Wildfire Data

Historical GIS data are available as polygon features representing wildfire perimeters.

• Wildlife Sensitivity Maps

Provincial spatial data layers are available in GIS-usable format on key wildlife areas, range, and critical aquatic habitat.
