E-book information and more

Can't access an e-book?

Some of the reasons you may not be able to access an ebook are:

1. There may be an access limit on the ebook. For example, if the ebook is only available with single user access, that means that only one person can read the ebook at one time.

2. There is a technical issue that will need to be resolved by either the Library or the vendor.

3. The Library has not purchased or subscribed to the ebook.

Access limit on the ebook

Where possible, the Library purchases ebooks with unlimited or concurrent user access. However, often publishers make their ebooks available only with single user or three user access, meaning that only one or three people can access an ebook at one time. If all of the copies of the ebook are in use, you will have to wait until someone logs out before you can read the ebook.
