Sometimes a table or desk will do for a stage, and sometimes you seriously need a puppet stage. The Rutherford Library currently has three puppet stages: two for the table top and one free-standing that you can hide behind!

All three are normally located in the puppet area.  However, if you cannot find one & it is not signed out, check in the Curriculum Media area under the call number.

This black fabric-wrapped stage is amazing, and best for puppets up to 18 inches in height. One to three adults could fit behind the stage.

Do plan to spend about 5 minutes putting the stage together. It is easy, but takes a bit of time to get the corners right.
