Bibliographies

Why consult a bibliography?

Bibliographies are lists of resources on a topic, they may include books, articles, and other media. They may include all sources on a topic, or sources vetted as important by an authority on the topic. There are also annotated bibliographies, which include a short description of the source and why it was included in the list.

Countries may also publish a National Bibliography that lists all of the materials published by that country.

Check your subject guide for subject specific bibliography recommendations, or search your subject area and bibliography in the library catalogue.
