ONEcards and CCIDs

You will need both a ONEcard and your Campus Computing ID (CCID) and password.

ONEcards and the associated PIN have several functions:

  • U of A identity card
  • Library card
  • Add money for printing and photocopying
  • Barcode and PIN are used for InterLibrary Loans (ILL) and for placing holds on books
  • Your PIN is on your registration form, or request it at this link: What is my pin?

If you are not located in Edmonton and will not be coming to the JWScott Library, you do not need the actual physical ONEcard.

Your barcode and PIN will be e-mailed to you
If you are on campus and want an actual ONEcard, it can be picked up at the ONEcard Office in HUB Mall, during business hours. Take your course registration.

CCID (Campus Computing ID) and password:

  • This is how you access your ualberta email and your Uofa registration etc.
  • Allows off-campus access to licensed Library resources (journals, databases)
  • Allows access to My Account (renew books online)
