Including Indigenous perspectives in the classroom supports truth, reconciliation, and respect for the diverse Nations across Canada. Indigenous knowledge systems are essential to understanding history, the environment, governance, and identity today.

To find what textbooks are being used in K-12 classrooms, check the New LearnAlberta website for access to the program of study associated with the subject and grade level of interest. The Alberta Education Authorized Resources Databases link provides access to resources associated with the pre-2022 curricula.
