Accessing Library Online Resources

Linking Principles

Linking to eBooks can be done through permalinks.

Search the library catalogue (EBSCO Discovery Service) for the title of the eBook. Once you've located the desired edition, click the title to view the item's detailed record. Click Permalink on the right-hand side of the catalogue interface. A link will appear above the item's record in a field labelled permalink. Copy and paste it wherever you would like to share an eBook with a University of Alberta affiliated individual.

Permanent links to eBooks are also available for titles accessed through the library's other databases.

In ScienceDirect, copy the permanent link to an eBook from your browser's address bar.

In Taylor & Francis eBooks, copy the permanent link from the DOI section of the book information.
