Accessing Library Online Resources

Linking to Resources through Citation Managers

Citation Managers

If you access articles through a citation manager software, such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, and others, you may be prompted for resolver or proxy information.  Please use the following to access the item (if the University of Alberta Library currently subscribes to the content):

Institutional Link Resolver Address: https://resolver.library.ualberta.ca/resolver

Ezproxy Address: https://login.ezproxy.library.ualberta.ca/login?url=

If you are using the citation manager, Papers, click here for more information.

UAL Bookmarklet

Sometimes you want to access library e-resources from off-campus without going through the library website. Maybe somebody sent you a link to a journal article, or you found something through a website. Rather than hitting a paywall, you can use this bookmarklet to quickly authenticate as a University of Alberta student, faculty, or staff, and access the full text (if the Library has an active subscription).  This bookmarlet is installed in a web browser.  This bookmarklet does not work for all resources. If you are still experiencing an issue accessing a particular resource, please search using the Library catalogue, database, or eJournal search engines.
